Barfords Contractors Ltd is a family company comprising of highly skilled craftsmen with a solid background in antique restoration and French polishing. For over 25 years we have restored and installed fine furniture in commercial and domestic and retail properties, also installed and repaired numerous wooden floors, using our in depth knowledge of species combined with colour matching and ageing techniques.
Gilding, the fine art of applying gold leaf, and leather restoration, to fixtures and furniture are a natural progression, to our services.
We utilise the very best tried and tested methods, combined with the highest quality materials to give the finish you require. Barford’s always use materials that are British Standard and FSC approved whenever possible. Rapid advances in recent years with ‘eco’ products have provided us with the opportunity to embrace these advances that are durable and ecologically sound.
